Joel has always been passionate about video games. When he was young, he would escape reality by playing different video games and taking on various character's roles.
He is currently working on a PC Game, titled "Grab It and Go", with the goal of selling it and promoting the game in various conventions, like PAX.
Joel's passion for video games led him to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Simulation & Game Design. He graduated the University of Baltimore in December 2018. During his time in college, he developed skills that are essential to Game Design. Skills like C# programming, Level Design using the Fallout 4 creation kit, texturing, modeling and managing a team.
Although he began his college career unsure of what area of Game Design he wanted to focus on, he quickly developed a passion for creating game environments. He is the Environmental Artist for "Grab It and Go".
